About Bin Finder
Bin Finder Map is a community-driven project to map public waste bins and make it easier for everyone to find nearby bins and dispose of their waste properly.
It was started when the creator struggled to find a bin to dispose of dog waste while out walking their dog.
How it works
Users can add bins to the map by providing the location and type of bin. The map supports different types of bins (e.g. general waste, recycling, dog) to help users find the right bin for their waste. Users can also report issues with existing bins, such as bins that are missing, damaged, or incorrectly categorized.
Get involved
